Provenance

Highfield Hall was built early in the nineteenth century, reportedly in the place of an earlier house. In 1917 it was sold by the Soughton estate to Geoffrey Summers of New Brighton. It was listed Grade II in 1962 and operated for many years as a country house before Stockbridge assumed its stewardship.

The Grounds

Manicured grounds and formal gardens surround the house, with a garden pavilion for outdoor ceremonies.

Within

The Orangery, beneath full glass elevations and natural light, and the Ballroom with its integrated bar form the principal interiors, with a Georgian room for private dining. The house holds fifteen bedrooms.

Provenance is not incidental. It is the asset.

Stockbridge holds Highfield Hall for the long term, a listed house maintained and stewarded rather than realised.
